Janica Kaneshiro - firm believer in everyday magic.
If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I believe wholeheartedly in everyday magic. I look for it in everything I do - be it social media strategy, content creation or even my morning cup of coffee (black, of course). Most of all, I believe that magic exists in people around me and the people I haven’t met yet.
I’m inherently curious and love learning what people are most passionate about. For me, I’m an artist, noodle-entheusiest and community-builder. When I’m not writing social copy or managing a content workflow, you can find me at the local thrift store or at my living room easel crouched over my latest painting.
I enjoy hosting community events in my hometown of Baltimore, MD. I seek to make spaces I occupy safe for others of all backgrounds, and I pride myself on my empathetic leadership style. I am committed to personal growth, and I’m a firm believer that there’s no such thing as “too old” or “too late” when it comes to new skills. Most of all, I believe we rise by lifting others, so I invest heavily in people around me because I believe in the everyday magic in them too.
